Here are the details What you grow? Students can grow beautiful crystals of colourless sodium potassium tartrate, looking like cut glass with an octahedral shape or Potassium Alum, a double pyramid shape. The cost: For a kit is $20, with cheques being made out to the BIG Little Science Centre. What you get? You are supplied with a kit containing: all needed materials and equipment, a student handout, and a teacher’s guide with complete instructions. How much is in a kit? Each kit contains enough material for a class of 30 students. Smaller Kits for families are also available. How do I get a kit?
